Heian Yondan
Today I started training my fourth kata: Heian Yondan.
My movements are far to be so good like Kanazawa’s one, indeed, but I think I do not more mistakes than other guys with a superior grade. I think the fact is that my subconscious has not forget all the work I did for my blue belt (called “purple” in some dojos, I think.) on jiu-jitsu more than fifteen years ago. I’ve also noticed that I’ve gained a lot of elasticity very fast on my legs during last three months.
There’s a common expression in spanish for that: “el que tuvo, retuvo”, that may be translated by “whose who had, withheld” (or may be not at all, as my english is soooooo bad…).
I think my master should examine me directly for green obi instead yellow… at least!
