My obi -karate belt- has shrink about 30 cms. after I washed it. I’ve used the same temperature told by the manufacturer (Decathlon), but its unusable now. My sensei told me that I shouldn’t wash the obi, not just because it may shrink, but because “spiritual things”. Well, I’m a pure rationalist, so I do not care about that things, I just care about I must buy another f*cking white belt.

I’ve also washed my karategi, but I bought the one for one meter with eighty centimeters tall size and I just do about one meter with seventy four, so it still fits me fine. Anyway I hope it does not shrink too much… (perhaps I must bought the one for 190 cm, but it what ways big for me… at least before washing)

I used to wash my Jiu-Jitsu belts in the past, and they never shrink soooo much as in this case.

So today’s aphorism is: “don’t wash your obi if it is a Decathlon one”.

And as my sensei says: “don’t wash it even if it is a good one… or you’ll lost your soul!”…

Nevemind… I’VE NO SOUL!! mmmMMMmmMMMMmMMMMmmmMMMMMUUUUHAHAHAHAhahaHAhahaHA!!!
